A colored sketch D&D commission. A Drow bard turned reaper is haunted by death, he cannot go anywhere without the memory of his wife. Their love letters, anointed oils, her perfumed handkerchief, and an eternal flame are always carried on his person so that he's never alone. He even got a custom scythe designed in her image, complete with metal angel wings for the blade.
While working on this piece the client's 2 cats had passed away back to back quite suddenly, so we incorporated them into the design.
